Statement of Significance:    Good example of a Federation Queen Anne Style brick house in good condition. Much of the original fabric has been replaced but most of the new work is sympathetic to the original style. Original interior features also. Local significance.

Physical Description:    Federation house. Queen Anne influence. Diagonal plan type. Face brick walls. Slate roof, bellcast over verandahs, with front and side gables. Decorative terracotta capping. Face brick chimneys with render mouldings. Simple chamfered verandah posts with fretwork brackets. Shingled hood to double-hung window. Oeil-de-boef above. Original interior features also.
Modifications:    Side verandah partly enclosed. Considerable addition and replacement of fabric, including shutters, barge boards and finials. Unsympathetic high picket fence.
Historical Notes:    Built for Thomas McCloy in 1898.
